BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to some preferred examples of practical embodiments thereof, a set of said description is attached as an integral part of said description. figures where, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented:
Figure 1 shows a schematic representation of a telematic safety system for vehicles, with respective on-board equipment for conventional vehicles and for two-wheeled vehicles, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention. Figure 2 shows a block architecture of the on-board equipment designed for
20 two-wheeled vehicles, according to a possible embodiment of the invention. Figure 3 includes a flowchart that illustrates an alert notification method to improve the safety of vehicle users.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
In view of the aforementioned figures, and in accordance with the numbering adopted, an example of a preferred embodiment of the invention can be observed therein, which comprises the parts, elements and method steps that are indicated and described in detail to continuation.
Figure 1 illustrates a possible embodiment of the general telematic system to improve safety between conventional vehicles (100) and astride-type vehicles (200), for example, bicycles, as shown in Figure 1. The system comprises:
 At least a first on-board device (110) for a conventional vehicle, (100), 35 mounted on a four or more wheeled vehicle, understanding light or heavy motor vehicles, such as passenger cars, vans, buses or

trucks, and allowing access to a wireless data network (300), for example, the IPv6 communications network, to offer vehicular telematic services to the occupants.
 At least a second on-board device (210) for vehicles of the riding type
5 astride (200), understanding as such a bicycle, a moped, or a motorcycle in its different slopes of two or more wheels, and allowing access to the wireless data network (300), for example, the IPv6 network , to offer vehicular telematic services to the driver.
10 The first on-board device (110) of conventional vehicles (100) includes a wireless router (111), with a first short-range wireless communication interface (112), for example, IEEE 802.11p or equivalent, as well as a user interface device (113) that offers a visual interface, for example a tablet or smartphone, connected to an internal network of the vehicle (100). Therefore, the router equipment
15 (111) has at least two communication interfaces: one to allow communication with the exterior of the devices inside the vehicle (100), including communication of the user interface device (113), and which also can allow communication between them; and another external, short or medium-range wireless interface (112), which allows the vehicle's internal network to communicate with other vehicles,
20 within a network without infrastructure.
In a preferred embodiment the communication interfaces referred to above may be separated from the router itself (111). This router equipment (111) interconnects the interior network of the vehicle (100), generally wireless, with the rest of the 25 vehicles in the environment. In the event that all communications are based on the IPv6 network protocol, both the mobile router (111) and the user interface device (113) will support this protocol. The security level application level data described below is included in ETSI CAM messages, which are encapsulated in UDP datagrams. These, in turn, are encapsulated in IPv6 datagrams. The messages that end
30 transmitting to the medium from the first on-board device (110) are sent by this wireless router (111) through the short or medium range wireless interface (112), for example, by IEEE 802.11p, so that they arrive to the second on-board device (210) through the wireless data network (300).
35 The user interface device (113) has the ability to execute computer programs, a processing unit, to provide the services to the

driver and occupants of the vehicle (100). In a preferred embodiment, this user interface device (113) is offered separately to the router device (111), and can be a tablet computer, a mobile phone or a special interface device adapted in the vehicle body itself (100) In another preferred embodiment, the router equipment (111) and the user interface device (113) can be offered in a single physical device. In any case, the user interface device (113) is connected, in whole or by means of a wired or wireless means, to the router network device (111). This user interface device (113) offers, in a user-friendly manner and in compliance with current road safety legislation, information on the safety reference method for improving the safety of vehicles of the straddle type ( 200).
On the other hand, vehicles of the astride type (200) have homologous on-board equipment, as shown in Figure 1, second on-board device (210), with different functionality than the first on-board device (110). The second on-board device (210) has a second short or medium range communication interface (212), IEEE 802.11p or equivalent, and a user warning interface by visual and audible indications. The second short or medium range communication interface (212) uses a second microwave communication antenna (219). The user warning interface in this case is implemented by means of a secondary electronic interface card (213), which includes electronic visual warning components (223) to notify the proximity of conventional vehicles (100) in the immediate vicinity by light, and components electronic sound warning (224), to notify the same event by audible alerts to the driver. In addition, it comprises at least one power battery (214) that ensures the autonomy of the device due to the power restrictions of vehicles of this type (200).
The second on-board device (210) allows vehicles of the astride type (200) to communicate with the rest of conventional or non-conventional vehicles (100, 200) that make up a wireless network without infrastructure, using the wireless network (300 ), while offering the visual-audible warning interface (213) to be used in the proximity security method of conventional vehicles (100), which allows conventional vehicles (100) to detect vehicles of the type of ride astride (200), and vice versa to avoid accidents.
In a preferred embodiment, the second on-board device (210) is mounted on the

body of the straddle type vehicle (200), in a location that allows the listening and display of warnings, such as the frame or the handlebar of the vehicle (200). In another preferred embodiment, the installation of the second on-board device (210) in the driver's helmet is contemplated, for example, by placing the visual alert components (223) on the front, and those of the sound alert (224), arranged around the helmet to allow the warning according to the approach of the conventional vehicle (100) from different directions to the vehicle (200) of the driver with helmet. In another preferred embodiment, the installation of the second on-board device (210) in a garment of the driver, such as a vest, is contemplated.
The structure of the second on-board device (210) for vehicles of the astride type (200) (210) is detailed in Figure 2. The diagram shows the second on-board device (210) comprising: a main electronic card (211) where a central processing unit (215) is located, an Ethernet data communication interface (216) for possible wired local network connections , a serial communication interface (217), for example, USB interface, a cellular communication interface
(218) for use in remote connection scenarios in other services that require a cellular telephone network, a second short or medium-range wireless communication interface (212), for example IEEE 802.11p or equivalent communication, and at least one global satellite positioning sensor (220), for example, GPS.
Each of the modules or interfaces that involve wireless communications are connected to their respective antennas: - a cellular communication antenna (221) connected to the cellular communication interface (218), - a second microwave communication antenna (219) connected to the short or medium range wireless communication interface (212), - a first microwave communication antenna (222) connected to the global satellite positioning sensor (220).
The main card (211) receives power from the battery (214), which ensures the autonomy of the device by maintaining the size and weight of the device at appropriate values. This can be achieved with a lithium battery, for example.
The secondary electronic card (213) is connected via the serial communication interface (217), for example, a USB port, with the main card (211). In the card

using a well known port for security service. a4) The UDP datagram is encapsulated in an IPv6 datagram, using the IPv6 local link address of the first short or medium range wireless interface (112) of the network router (111) of the first on-board device (110) as its source address. for conventional vehicle (100), or using the IPv6 local link address of the short or medium range wireless interface (212) of the second on-board device (110) for astride type vehicle (200) as its source address, and as destination address that multicast that identifies all the nodes of the network, a5) The IPv6 datagram is encapsulated in a link level frame dependent on the short or medium range wireless network technology used, for example, IEEE 802.11p , and the data network is broadcast to the medium
(300) IPv6.
b) The first on-board device (110) for conventional vehicle (100), or the second on-board device (210) for vehicle of the astride type (200), receives (301) information on the status of another Surrounding vehicle:
b1) A data frame, the link level frame, is received and the application level message is extracted following the steps above, in reverse order, from a5) to a3). b2) The application level message is treated in the intermediate stage of data adaptation (310) and the load of known data for the security method is extracted (311) from the treated message. In a preferred embodiment, the ETSI CAM messages can be used. b3) It is determined whether it is a message belonging to the security method described in the present invention. If not, if the message does not belong to the security method, the message is discarded. b4) It is determined whether the message comes from a conventional vehicle (100), in the event that the method is executed in a vehicle of the astride type (200), or if the message comes from a vehicle of the type of mount astride (200), in case the method is executed in a conventional vehicle (100). If the message is received from a vehicle of the same type as that of the receiver, it is discarded. b5) The data received (314) is stored in a local data set about the vehicles that circulate nearby.
